Vmedia India is looking for high quality candidates for Customer Care positions to join our expanding Call Centre teams. Customer Care agents are responsible for responding to customer inquiries on their VMedia account as well as handling a range of customer account issues. Customer Care agents also sell VMedia’s innovative TV, Internet and Home Phone services and look to retain and build the customers’ relationship with VMedia. Candidates must have excellent English language abilities and excellent customer service skills as well as some sales capabilities.
Role Overview
- Handles and addresses customer’s questions and inquiries about their VMedia account and VMedia services responding primarily through an inbound phone queue
- Makes outbound and follow up calls to current and new customers in response to account issues and to promote VMedia services
- Responsive to customer’s questions and inquiries about their VMedia account and service, and addresses issues in a timely and professional manner
- Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing account information to respond to customers’ questions
- Looks for opportunities to promote VMedia and upsells VMedia TV, Internet and Home Phone services and equipment to Customers
- Demonstrates listening skills with an ability to deal with customer issues and objections in a professional manner
- Focuses on ensuring a positive brand experience in customer interactions, retaining Customers and building the relationship with VMedia
- Works well in a team and with individuals in other functional areas.
- Can handle a quick pace environment
- Non business hour flexibility may be required
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduates with 1-2+ years of relevant work experience. Prior customer service/sales experience especially at least 12 months working in an international call center would be considered an advantage.
- Excellent English language skills (oral and written) and telephone etiquette skills
- Very good customer service, communication and selling skills.
- Personable, courteous and professional manner with a strong focus on delivering excellence in customer service
- Prior experience working in the Canadian or US market would be an asset.
- Awareness and general understanding of IPTV, Internet and VOIP phone services helpful
