Vmedia India is hiring high quality candidates for Online Support service positions in our expanding Call Centre. Online Support Agents are responsible for selling VMedia services, a growing company offering innovative TV, Internet and Home Phone services in the Canadian market as well as handling a range of customer service and account issues. Candidates must have excellent English language skills – written as well as oral, good sales capabilities, as well as a strong customer service mindset.
Role Overview
- Responsible for selling VMedia TV, Internet and Home Phone services and equipment to Canadian consumers responding primarily through an inbound chat or email
- Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing information to make professional recommendations to customers for services
- Looks at all customer interactions as opportunities to promote VMedia, ensure a positive brand experience and to build the customer relationship
- Responsive to customer’s questions and inquiries about their VMedia account and service and addresses issues in a timely manner
- Ability to deal with customer issues, negotiations and objections in a professional manner
- Ability to work well in a team and with individuals in other functional areas.
- Can handle a quick pace environment
- Non business hour flexibility may be required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduates with 1-2+ years of relevant work experience. Prior customer service/sales experience especially at least 12 months working in an international call center would be considered an advantage.
- Excellent English language skills (oral and written) and telephone etiquette skills.
- Very good customer service, communication and selling skills.
- Personable, courteous and professional manner with a strong focus on delivering excellence in customer service.
- Prior experience working in the Canadian or US market would be an asset.
- Awareness and general understanding of IPTV, Internet and VOIP phone services helpful.
